The 2023 World Law Congress marked the sixtieth anniversary of the World Jurist Association. It was held in New York City, the birthplace of the United Nations and a global center of diplomacy and international law. The Congress took place under the theme Peace through Law and welcomed more than 350 speakers and 50 panels. It was one of the most ambitious editions ever organized by the World Law Foundation.
New York 2023 was both a celebration of sixty years of the World Jurist Association’s legacy and a call to expand international cooperation in a world facing growing threats to democratic values.
