The Ombudsman of the Dominican Republic participates in the organization of the World Law Congress 2025

The World Jurist Association and the Ombudsman of the Dominican Republic, Pablo Ulloa, have formalized an agreement that guarantees their participation in the organization of the World Law Congress 2025 to be held in Santo Domingo from May 4 to 6. This agreement reinforces the commitment to strengthening the rule of law and consolidates the country’s role within the international legal community.

The World Law Congress 2025 will contribute to the democratic stability of the Dominican Republic, promoting global dialogue on justice and law and reaffirming the importance of the rule of law in the development of nations.

For Ulloa, “making the Dominican Republic the venue of the most important legal event in the world is a decisive step towards strengthening our institutional framework and projecting ourselves as a country with legal security and democratic stability”. He also recognized that it “places the country in a strategic position within the international legal community and reinforces its attractiveness as a reliable destination for foreign investment and sustainable economic development”.

The Ombudsman stressed that “the celebration of the World Law Congress in the Dominican Republic is not just an event, it is a recognition of the strength of our institutions and a unique opportunity to project ourselves as a country with clear rules, legal stability and vision for the future” and stressed that “it is a key moment to position the Dominican Republic as a center of legal security and stability for investment”.
