World Jurist Association participates in the Jubilee for Justice alongside Pope Leo XIV

World Jurist Association (WJA) participated in the Jubilee for Justice, an event convened by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV on the occasion of the Jubilee Year 2025, which took place in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican on September 20.

WJA delegation was composed of former president Lucio Ghia (Italy) and Spanish jurists Paloma Roca Suárez-Inclán and Pilar Roca Suárez-Inclán, who joined this meeting that brought together representatives from the international legal community around the values of justice, service, and fraternity.

During the ceremony, attendees participated in liturgical acts and shared moments of reflection in an atmosphere of deep spirituality. The images captured during the day reflect the significance of the event, with scenes in St. Peter’s Square and inside the Vatican Basilica, where WJA members were present in various emblematic spaces.

The World Jurist Association’s participation in the Jubilee for Justice renews its commitment to its mission of achieving a world governed by law and not by force, strengthening the rule of law through international cooperation among jurists, legal professionals, and academics from around the world.
